Program planning and operations
Helping prepare upcoming study abroad programs and assisting with practical tasks during a program.
Summit Global Education
Our internship program has offered students experience helping plan, organize, and share Summit’s study abroad programs. We are not currently offering internships or accepting internship applications.
The internship has involved working directly with the Summit team on our programs, rather than a placement at another company. Past opportunities have included:
Helping prepare upcoming study abroad programs and assisting with practical tasks during a program.
Contributing to campus outreach, social media, and stories about the study abroad experience.
Using photography, video, or graphic design skills on projects for Summit.
Summit’s faculty-led programs in Europe and Brazil combine college courses with professional and cultural visits. Students prepare questions, visit organizations, and discuss what they observe in class. These are academic visits, not work placements.
Explore Summit scholarships, outside financial aid, and installment payment options. Summit is not recruiting student assistants. If a student asks and useful on-program work exists, an assistantship scholarship may be considered separately; it is not an internship.
Financial aid and scholarshipsIf your degree requires an internship, start with your university’s career or internship office. Ask which placements qualify, what supervision is required, and how to arrange approval before you commit.
